She began her career at GEICO Insurance Company in Sales, transitioning through Underwriting, Quality Administration, and Claims, before moving over to the Special Investigations Unit as a Regional SIU Manager for 17 years. She has a Master's Degree in Business Administration and Management from Georgia College and State University and her Senior Claims Law Associate designation from the American Educational Institute.
